Bérénice Colomb-Yéghikian was born and raised in the South of France. Bérénice started riding at the age of 6 and has not stopped since. She has been riding with the most impressive international trainers such as Juan Matute (Madrid, Spain) and Jason Mc Afee (Los Angeles, California) in dressage; Francie Steinwedell and Dick Carvin (Los Angeles, California) in jumping.
Bérénice has been training Florian since 2004. This talented Westphalian gelding is owned by Genie Harrison, top-level "civil rights" lawyer. Her support and enthusiasm plays an important role in Bérénice and Florian’s success.
Bérénice and Francie Steinwedell have been business partners since 2006. They combine their respective knowledge to develop dressage and jumping horses.
From January-April 2008, Bérénice and Francie moved from California to compete at the international circuit of Wellington, Florida. This event gathered top-level jumper riders like Rodrigo Pessoa, Eric Lamaze, and the American Olympic jumping team (Laura Kraut, Beezie Madden, McLain Ward, Will Simpson). Top-level dressage riders such as Robert Dover, Ashley Holzer and Liza Wilcox were also present. This priceless experience allowed them to learn from Meredith Michaels Beerbaum and Markus Beerbaum through private sessions to prepare for Spruce Meadows (Calgary, Canada).
Bérénice is fluent in French, English and Spanish.
Bérénice is ambassadress for Just World.
